Here are some questions to ask when choosing a Financial Planner: Ask to see the Financial Planner's work history. Check references and make sure that the Planner has experience in your area. You should also find out how the Financial Planner will be paid before you begin to use his or her services. Finally, when you have come to an arrangement with the Financial Planner, be sure to get the agreement in writing.
