Here are some questions to ask when choosing a Financial Planner: · Ask to see the Financial Planner's work history. Check references and make sure that the Planner has experience in your area. · Make sure that the Financial Planner is board certified with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. 888-237-6275 www.CFP.net · Ask who will work with the Financial Planner or will they be working by themselves. · You should also find out how the Financial Planner will be paid before you begin to use his or her services. · Finally, when you have come to an arrangement with the Financial Planner, be sure to get the agreement in writing.
